EGOHYDRATE

Egohydrate is used to treat: mild to moderate dehydration caused by acute diarrhea (to replace water and electrolyte loss in the body); for the prevention of dehydration. Acute diarrhea is associated with a risk of dehydration (loss of water and salt). Egohydrate solution replaces water and salt loss in case of diarrhea. The glucose in the medicine promotes the absorption of water and salts from the intestines, citrate helps to correct the balance of acids and alkalis in the body.
